Website – FreeToastHost 2.0

Sharla Webb, ACB ALB
District 22 PRO

Attention Fellow Toastmasters: The new and improved FreeToastHost 2.0 (FTH2) is now available. FreeToastHost is a no-cost website service that allows you to publicize your club, plus it provides several on-line tools such as a duty roster, member directory and calendars.

According to the Toastmasters International website, FTH2 comes with an easy-to-use web-based software ideal for any Toastmasters club.

With this change, Toastmasters International will no longer be providing support for FreeToastHost version 1. What does this mean for your version 1 website?  Unfortunately, there is not a simple way to convert from version 1 to FTH2. There have been considerable changes in the software features.

Administrator logins from version 1 will not work for FTH2.  Your VP Public Relations or club webmaster will need to register as administrator for FTH2 at:

The good news is the link above provides a step by step getting started guide, example sites to view and a list of frequently asked questions.  There is also a forum/blog for members to discuss tips and tricks, improvement suggestions and known bugs for FTH2.

While creating your new website may bring you some new challenges, Toastmasters International is prepared to be as helpful as possible with the link above.  As your District leaders learn tips and tricks about FTH2 in the coming months, we will be sure to share them with you.

With that said, as you begin developing your new website via FTH2, we would like to hear from you!  We would like you to share tips and tricks along the way.  Please feel free to share them by sending an email to District PRO (
